There are crucial decisions coming up in the next three year term of the Warwick Valley School Board, and we need candidates who have proven leadership, genuine intentions and demonstrated integrity that will put students above politics. We need a team that will make sound and intelligent decisions for our community, while keeping our schools and programs at the highest levels possible.
Robert Howe, Dory Masefield and Erin Maxcy already have a proven track record. During their term, class offerings and resources have expanded, while massive staff cuts have become a thing of the past. Most importantly, they have done it all by keeping budget increases at an all-time low. They have illustrated that good planning, efficient budgeting, leadership, and securing outside funding such as grants, can make our district among the strongest in the region.
Even if you don’t currently have children in the District, remember that strong schools mean strong property values and equity in our homes. I believe that these three board members deserve to be re-elected based on their track record of accomplishments and improvements to our schools. Please vote for Howe, Masefield and Maxcy in the upcoming Tues., May 16 election.
