The family of Francis S. Putnam would like to extend their thanks to the members of the Warwick Fire Department and to the members of American Legion Post #214 for their service held at the funeral home to honor him.
Our thanks to the Raymond Hose Company for the wonderful tribute that was extended to him from the use of the antique fire truck, to the honor guard and then to a delicious reception prepared for our family and friends. How blessed my husband and I were in having had the wonderful occasions we enjoyed with the members of the Raymond Hose Company.
Also, to our pastor of the Christ Church, the Reverend James Erwin, Deborah Schofield, our organist, and to members of the congregation who contributed to bless us with a beautiful and meaningful service. We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the members of our Police Department who made it possible for the procession to the cemetery and to a final tribute for him from the U.S. Navy with the presentation of our flag and the playing of “Taps” with a gun salute.
A thank you to the doctors, nurses, LPN’s, and aides who took care of him during his stay at Valley View; to Caitlan and Tina who brightened his days; and to the St. Anthony Community Hospital doctors, nurses, LPN’s, and aides for the wonderful care given to him during his final days.
