It is my distinct pleasure to support Annie Rabbitt in her run for State Senate. I have known Annie for almost 15 years and I have watched her work tirelessly to support our community. She started her own business in Greenwood Lake, where she served as the Chamber of Commerce president and Deputy Mayor, and she then served as Deputy Town Supervisor in Warwick.
She spent 10 years advocating for all of us as a State Assemblywoman, during which time she was responsible for over 300 bills being signed into law. As our County Clerk she streamlined the process and significantly cut wait times at the DMV, and when elected our new State Senator, she will put a detailed tax plan in place, cutting our local property taxes by requiring the State to pick up the total cost of the Medicaid program, as is done in most other states.
All of her successes aside, what I love most about Annie is that she is present. She attends local events – the picnics, the walks, and the fundraisers for our many charitable organizations. She is accessible and interested and I can’t think of a better person to represent all of us in Albany. I hope on Tues., Nov. 6 you will join me in voting for Annie Rabbitt as our next State Senator.
