The members of the Warwick Valley Farmers’ Market would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of the community who have patronized and supported us during the 2016 Market Season.
We could not offer the community the variety and quality of products found at our market without the consistent and enthusiastic support of our customers, be they every market day customers, occasional customers or tourists.
It takes a lot more than just customers to “make the Market magic” each Sunday. It truly takes a community.
We would like to thank the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Warwick, our sponsors.
In addition, the Town of Warwick police officers who are on call for emergencies, as well as car and parking control. The Village Department of Public Works, whose members help clean and maintain the South St. parking lot, maintain electric service and other amenities. And most particularly, they helped us with removing unexpected snow on our final Sunday of this season.
A special thank you to our Community Partners who join us each week to promote their businesses and causes, and the wonderful musicians who help us set the tone of the market, performing in good conditions, in heat and humidity, as well as in cold and windy weather.
We will return for the 2017 market season on Mother’s Day, Sun., May 14. In the interim, our farmers are ordering seeds to have produce early in the season. Our prepared food vendors are refining their recipes and exploring new options for you.
We wish all of you Happy Holidays and a healthy New Year.
MARKET MANAGER, WARWICK VALLEY FARMERS’ MARKET
