On Sat., May 20, our community came together once again to support local business and non-profits with a trip to the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Community Showcase, held this year in Downtown Warwick.. With large crowds walking around the Village of Warwick, over 80 exhibitors had the opportunity to share their products and/or services directly with the public. Many exhibitors do not have store front businesses, so this provided an opportunity to meet and greet locals. We kept a few of the favorites from past years like the Musical Performances, Demonstrations and children’s activities.
Our Showcase benefited from bigger and better booths, prizes, raffles, information – and an abundance of good will. So much is offered right here in our local community and shopping locally has enormous economic benefit.
All of our efforts were made possible with the support of many volunteers, local papers covering the event, our exhibitors, and of course our sponsors, St. Anthony Bon Secours Charity Health System, Myles Wealth Management, Seely and Durland Insurance, ShopRite, Edward Jones Investments, WVT, Solar Maximum, and Williams Insurance and Financial Services.
We would also like to express our thanks for the help and support of the Village of Warwick and the Department of Public Works, the Warwick Fire Department, the Warwick Police Department, and the local Boy Scout troops.
Thanks to all and see you next year!
MICHAEL JOHNDROW, WARWICK VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
