Once again we would like to thank the Warwick community for all the support they have given to the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry Thanksgiving and Christmas Basket Program. We have served the Warwick community for over 30 years and our program has flourished thanks to the many organizations and families that have participated.
Without the help of the Warwick Valley Schools and St. Stephen’s we would not be able to sustain our program. All tolled, I believe, the schools have accounted for providing at least 90 baskets to those in need. We would also like to thank the many organizations, companies, families and others who have donated either a basket, gave financial support, donated food or toys to help make our basket day successful. A special thanks to those who volunteered the day of our Basket Days.
Thanks also to those who provided lunch for our volunteers the day of baskets. They include: ShopRite of Warwick, Noble Pies, Subway of Warwick, Larry’s Deli, Bellvale Market, Vivana’s Trattoria, Dunkin Donuts, Bagel World, Ochs Orchard and Pennings Orchard. A special thank you to the Landmark Inn that has provided us with a full course dinner for Christmas Baskets over the years that has been incredible.
We would like to take our hats off to Bon Secours for all of the food and monetary gifts they provided as well. Thanks too Track 7 for helping to make our Toy Store a success. Thank you to the Warwick Methodist Church and Pastor Jen for all of her support and help – it has been truly a blessing working with you and your staff.
Wishing all of the above and the Warwick community a very Happy and Healthy New Year. Thanks for the memories.
