The annual Albert Wisner Public Library vote is scheduled to take place on Tues., Apr. 10 at the library, located at 1 McFarland Dr. in Warwick NY. The polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
This year’s candidate for one seat on the Albert Wisner Public Library Board of Trustees is current Board member, Regina Wittosch. As a member of the Board of Trustees, Regina played a very active role in helping to build the new library, which opened in 2009 and went on to win the Library Journal Best Small Library in America Award in 2016. She also worked on the project to expand the parking lot, as well as redesigning the outdoors to allow for terraced seating and a patio for popular library programs which is completely accessible to all.
Regina notes, “It is my goal to continue to provide the best Library programs and services to our community.”
In addition to one Trustee position, the proposed annual operating levy for the fiscal year 2018-19 will be on the ballot. Details on the vote and absentee ballot applications can be found at the library and at the library’s website at www.albertwisnerlibrary.org.
