A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Greenwood Lake Bagels Inc. on Wed., Oct. 11 to celebrate their recent opening. Greenwood Lake Bagels Inc., owned by Warwick residents Will and Christine Moley, is located at 93 Windermere Ave. in Greenwood Lake. The bagel shop opened this summer and the business has been a big hit in the Village.
The event was attended by G.L. Mayor Jesse Dwyer, members of the G.L. Chamber of Commerce, the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, community members, family and friends. Grok Bites, who make gourmet raw fruit and nut bites, was on site handing out samples of their handmade bars.
“We are honored to be part of the Greenwood Lake community and look forward to serving the community for many years to come. We want to thank the community. We love Greenwood Lake,” said Will and Christine Moley, the owners.
The bagel shop offers a variety of bagels, homemade specialty cream cheeses, such as vegetable, scallion, olive, walnut raisin and lox. The shop also serves breakfast sandwiches, delicious baked goods and pastries from Heather Bradford, roasted coffee from the Greenwood Lake Roasters and items from Grok Bites.
Customers can enjoy breakfast while dining in front of a flat screen TV and the shop offers free WiFi. The bagel shop is open seven days a week: weekdays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on weekends from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Be on the lookout the upcoming lunch menu, consisting of sandwiches, hot dishes and much more.
Greenwood Lake Bagels Inc. is a privately held company which prides itself on sourcing most of its products from the local community, the Hudson Valley and New York State.
