The Warwick Hope Chest, a growing non-profit in Pine Island, located at 20 Schoolhouse Rd. in the Pine Island Elementary School, offers a wide variety of used clothing and items for shoppers from the community. In addition to the Thrift Boutique, which has new and slightly used women’s clothing and the free Clothing Closet for families in need, the Hope Chest now offers home goods and toys, men’s clothing, children’s and teen’s clothing, and the new Fashion Floor, which offers a selection of women’s dressy formal wear and shoes, as well as men’s suits.
The Warwick Hope Chest is seeking volunteers and donations of seasonal clothing for men, women, and children, party wear and home goods. All proceeds go to support the free clothing bank, which has distributed over $200,000 worth of free clothing to local families in need. The Hope Chest is now open Tues. from 4 to 7 p.m., and Thurs. and Sat. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
