The Albert Wisner Public Library, located at 1 McFarland Dr. in Warwick, will present classical guitarist Marc Mathelier on Fri., Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room.
Marc is a versatile and avid guitarist with a repertoire ranging from Baroque to Fusion-Alternative, New Age to Easy Listening and Classical to Jazz Standards on a nylon string guitar. A winner of numerous awards, Marc has concertized at Teatro Oficina in Sao Paulo, Brazil and the Conservatoire de Montreal in Canada. In the U.S., he has performed on many distinguished stages including Carnegie Hall (NYC), the Berkley Performance Center in Boston, MA and the Daughters of American Revolution Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. and has been featured with the Rockland County Chorale Society. Marc’s music takes listeners on romantic and exotic voyages that celebrate music, love, and life and his mastery of the guitar and his variety of styles makes him a virtuoso.
