In the only contested race for Village elections in the Town of Warwick on Tues., Mar. 20, Daniel Harter, Jr. was chosen as the new Mayor of the Village of Florida. Daniel Harter, Jr. received 294 votes, while his opponent Robert J. Schreibeis, Sr. received 258 votes.
Incumbent Trustees, Thomas Fuller and Craig Olejniczak, who ran unopposed were reelected into office with 425 and 407 votes, respectively.
There were also the following write-in votes for Mayor – one each for John Madigan, James Mieczkowski, and Alicia Cohen; and for Trustee – James Mieczkowski, 52, and one vote each for James Revella, Bob Supenski, Lillian Pasquele, Carla Dwyer, John Acuna, and Allison Orlando.
Holder & Sellier Reelected
In Greenwood Lake, incumbent Trustees Katheleen Holder and Chad Sellier who also ran unchallenged for a two year term each received 58 and 51 votes, respectively.
Village of Warwick Results
In the Village of Warwick, incumbent Mayor Michael J. Newhard as well as incumbent Trustees, William Lindberg and George W. McManus, were all reelected into office. Newhard received 358 votes, while McManus and Lindberg received 301 and 298 votes, respectively.
There were also the following write-in votes for Mayor – one vote each for Barbara Bald, John Maxcy, Wadeson, and Stephen Gross; and for Trustee – Stephen Gross, 48; John Maxcy, 46; and one vote each for Ben Astorino, John Chardavoyne, Patrick Gallagher, Michael Sepulveda, Michael Gallagher, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
