Warwick H.S. football seniors, Brendan Egan and David Ghiloni, competed in the 2016 Exceptional Senior Football Game at Newburgh High School on Tues., Nov. 22. Egan and Ghiloni played for the National Team which defeated the American Team 21–10. Ghiloni was a key contributor this fall with 17 catches for 194 yards and 41 total tackles to go along with three interceptions. Egan was one of the sections’ top offensive lineman at 6’5”, 290 lbs.
The National Team was coached by former Wildcats and now Valley Central Football Coaches Ron Introini and Patrick Kemp. Kemp and Introini were responsible for the offense in the game and have done a great job as teachers and coaches at Valley Central. Tyler Williams and Nick Parchinski were also selected to compete for the National Team but were unable to participate due to prior commitments.
