The Hudson Valley’s talented yet undiscovered performers are invited to show off their talent before an audience and a select panel of judges at Warwick’s Got Talent! Contestants will compete for an opportunity to perform during one of the events at the 2018 Warwick Summer Arts Festival to be held this summer. The talent show will be held on Sat., Apr. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Warwick Center for the Performing Arts, located at 63 Wheeler Ave. in Warwick NY.
There is a $10 registration fee and all ages are invited to perform. To register send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org containing the following information: number of performers; names and ages of all performers; and music genre – singing, playing an instrument, dancing, comedy, magic, acrobatics, etc. (contestants must be able to carry instruments on and off stage). Performance length should be two to five minutes.
The winner will be chosen by a select panel of judges which will include Village of Warwick Mayor Michael Newhard; Tim Mullally, theater performer and co-owner of Style Counsel and Blue; Leo Kaytes, of Leo Kaytes Ford, and a surprise fourth guest judge. Proceeds from “Warwick’s Got Talent” will benefit the upcoming performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center on Sat., Jun. 9, performed by members of the Warwick Dance Collective and dance students from the Warwick Center for the Performing Arts.
Tickets to the talent show are $7 per person or $15 per family of three or more. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Warwick Center for the Performing Arts or at the door.
