Warwick’s Repair Café is a free community meeting place where people can bring broken items to be repaired for free. The only charges incurred would be for lamp or bike parts at cost. The repair coaches are men and women with significant skills who generously volunteer their time for this non-profit project, which is open to everyone.
The Repair Café will be held on Sat., Jul. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Warwick Senior Center, located at 132 Kings Hwy. in Warwick. There is a limit of two items per person and this month there will be no jewelry repairs offered.
Participants can bring mechanical and electrical items, wooden items, clothing, textiles, soft toys, knives and tools for sharpening, and bikes.
There will be an adult-supervised Kids-Take-Apart-Table and all attendees are asked to bring a donation for the Food pantry. For more information call 544-1056 or visit www.RepairCafeHV.org.
