The Greenwood Lake Gaelic Cultural Society will present Celtic Day on Sun., Feb. 25 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Arthur Finnegan American Legion Post 1443, located at 40 Mountain Lakes Ln. in Greenwood Lake. The celebration of Irish heritage will feature entertainment by the Chris Turpin Band, the West Point Pipe and Drums, and the Sheehan-Gormley School of Irish Dance.
Celtic Day will also include an Irish Soda Bread competition. Breads can be dropped off at the American Legion on Sun., Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the winner will be announced no later than 4 p.m. A prize will be awarded to the first place winner and all breads will then become the property of the G.L. Gaelic Cultural Society.
