The Albert Wisner Public Library and the Friends of Hathorn House will present new discoveries about the area during the Revolutionary days on Sun., Jan. 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the Library, located at 1 McFarland Dr. in Warwick.
What eyewitness stories do the pension applications of Warwick veterans tell? What places does Washington’s mapmaker note that reveal long-hidden stories of the war in the community? Members of the Friends of Hathorn House research team and living history group will share recently unearthed evidence of the struggle for liberty in the town.
Open to all area adults, teens, and attentive older children; registration is required. To register, call the Help Desk at 986-1047, opt. 3, or visit www.albertwisnerlibrary.org.
