Greenwood Lake Bagels, Inc., located at 93 Windermere Ave. in Greenwood Lake, will celebrate its one-year anniversary on Sun., Jul. 8 at 11 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ribbon cutting will be hosted by the Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce and will be followed by a reception featuring a meet and greet with first responders from the Greenwood Lake Volunteer Fire Department, the Greenwood Lake Police Department and the Greenwood Lake Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Samples will be available of some of the bagel and bakery specials offered at Greenwood Lake Bagels.
“Over the past year, we have enjoyed serving the community with our bagel store, deli and bakery,” said Christine Moley, the owner, Greenwood Lake Bagels. “As first-time restaurant owners, we didn’t know what to expect,” she continue, “but our first year has exceeded our expectations. We are proud of the restaurant and honored to work with a group of talented, friendly and fun employees.”
Greenwood Lake Bagels offers breakfast and lunch with bagels, sandwiches, a full-service deli, and a bakery. The bagel shop also makes their own specialty cream cheeses including vegetable, scallion, olive, berry, and lox. The store offers a flat-screen TV and free wi-fi for customers. The shop is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
