The Serenade Quartet will perform on Sun., Aug. 6 at 5 p.m. at the Pacem in Terris, located at 96 Covered Bridge Rd. in Warwick, with a program that will include: Shinji Eshima’s “August 6th,” Die Fledermaus, Johann Strauss 11, and more. The quartet consists of violinists, Krista Bennion Feeney and Keats Dieffenbach, Jessica Troy on viola, John Feeney on bass, and special guest Daniel Haskins, a magician/percussionist extraordinaire.
Haskins, a percussionist, has performed in the American Ballet Theatre, Opera Orchestra of New York and at other venues. Violinist Krista Bennion Feeney is a concertmaster at the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, and an active recitalist and soloist. Dieffenbach also a violinist is an artist equally comfortable on the stages of Carnegie Hall and the set of Saturday Night Live. She plays modern and historical violin with many fine ensembles. Troy is a native New Yorker, who performs on both historical and modern viola. John Feeney is a principal double bassist of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and a soloist.
