Donald Presutti, of Kenilworth Ln. in Warwick, won the “Scare the Mayor” contest. The contest was held on Mon., Oct. 30 as part of Village of Warwick’s Sesquicentennial year-long celebration. All Village residents were invited to participate in the first annual Halloween decorating contest.
The second place winner of the contest was Karl Scheible of Oakland Ct. and third place was Michael Becker of Orchard St. The Kid Mayor Choice Award went to Peter Larkin of Linden Pl.
The contest judges, Warwick Mayor Michael Newhard and the Kid Mayor Daniel Alquezada Madero, visited participating homes and were most scared by Presutti’s haunted house. The judging was very difficult due to the extraordinarily scary environments created by all of the participants.
