The Salmagundi Consort will present an introduction to popular music of the Hudson Valley in the late 18th century on Sun., Jun. 3 at 2 p.m. at the Albert Wisner Public Library, located at 1 McFarland Dr. in Warwick NY.
Gene Tozzi (hammer dulcimore), Jane Barsumian (violin) and Sona Hairabedian (cello) combine music with reenactment, interspersing their concert with accounts of musical performance of the period. Attendees should bring a folding chair or blanket for seating at the library’s River Birch outdoor performance space.
