The Warwick Hope Chest Thrift Boutique, located at 20 Schoolhouse Rd. in Pine Island NY, is bursting with new arrivals of fashions for every special occasion. A complete palette of springtime colors greet shoppers as they enter the Fashion Floor of the Hope Chest and shoppers can know that they are helping this non-profit thrift shop provide free and low cost clothing to families in need at their Clothing Closet clothing bank.
For the cost-conscious bride who wants quality, beautifully detailed bridal gowns along with accessories, shoes, bags, and head pieces at a fraction of the prices found at bridal shops and department stores can be found. Mother-of-the-bride dresses and special occasion dresses can also be found on the racks.
Springtime also means prom time for local schools and the Fashion Floor is displaying long and short gowns in a variety of colors as well as classic black and white dresses with shoes, bags and accessories. Nor forgetting the men and boys, the Warwick Hope Chest has racks of suits, dress shirts and shoes in every size.
“We find this is such a popular time for us as people hear about our large selection of dressy items that are new or like new. These sales help us so much in our effort to continue to provide clothing, coats and home goods to local families all year long,” said Laura Shanahan, manager of the Hope Chest.
The Warwick Hope Chest is open on Tues. from 4 to 7 p.m., Thurs. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sat. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Warwick Hope Chest proceeds go to support the Clothing Closet clothing bank which has distributed over $200,000 worth of free clothing to local families in need.
