Historic home owners often face challenges when they look into solar. But there’s an interesting new option right in the area. SunCommon, a solar company with a focus on sustainability and community, is currently constructing a small scale solar farm -or Community Solar Array – on the grounds of the Orange County Citizens Foundation.
Scott Meyers, SunCommon Community Organizer, will be joining the Warwick Historical Society to present an info session on how this could help local residents switch to clean, affordable solar energy- without any installation necessary on their homes or businesses. This event will take place on Tues., Dec. 4, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the A.W. Buckbee Center, located at 2 Colonial Ave. in Warwick NY. All are welcome to attend this free event. Light refreshments will be served. RSVP to Lisa at email@example.com.
