The Maj. Gen. Irene Trowell-Harris Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen will give a presentation on the history of the Tuskegee Airmen and their service during World War II at the Florida Public Library, located at 4 Cohen Cir. in Florida, on Wed., Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m.
Presenters will include Chapter President Lt. Col. (ret) Glen Fraser; East Coast Region President, Chief (ret) Quincy Magwood; and Stephan Wilkinson. The Maj. Gen. Irene Trowell-Harris Chapter is located on the Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, NY and is a charter member of the National Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. operating in the Mid-Hudson Valley. The chapter promotes the interest in and honors the memory of the men and women who served in the Army Air Corp at Tuskegee, AL during the 1940s.
