The Friends of Hill-Hold and Brick House Museum, located at 128 Rte. 416 in Hamptonburgh, NY, announce that they will host a “Wine Making and Tasting” fundraiser on Sun., Sept. 30 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Jerry Pantano, of “Pantano’s Wine Grapes and Home Brewers” in New Paltz, NY, will give a presentation on the wine making process and discuss all the necessary equipment and supplies. Guests will taste wines from award winning New York State and local wineries and enjoy an assortment of hors d’oeuvres in the beautiful ca. 1870 barn at the Hill Hold historic homestead.
Other highlights of the afternoon will include a raffle for a huge “Basket of Cheer” and a beautiful painting supplied by the Wallkill River School. There will also be lots of fabulous door prizes including bottles of wine and everyone will get to take home their commemorative wine tasting glass.
