The Garden State Koi Pond and Waterfall Design Center in Warwick NY will present a public workshop to learn about building water features for the garden and yard on Sat., Apr. 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Warwick Valley Community Center (WVCC), located at 11 Hamilton Ave. in Warwick.
Expert builders will cover the following topics: sitting, excavation, liners, use of stone and boulders, maintenance, appropriate planting, and water supply options. Participants will get hands-on experience with plenty of time for specific discussion and questions. The end result of the workshop will be a new dry stream bed and water garden in the new 3-Pines Nature Place at the WVCC.
