Long time Warwick residents, Bob and Betty Fletcher, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Mon., Sept. 26.
In honor of their anniversary, their four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren gathered to celebrate the happy occasion at a resort in Lake George, NY. Those attending were daughter, Brenda and her family, of Alberta of Canada; son, Douglas and his family of Wake Forrest, NC; daughter, Jane and her family, of Warwick; and son, Rob Fletcher and Laura from Irving, MA.
Bob and Betty’s first home was in Wyckoff, NJ. After that, they moved to Iron Mountain Farm in Warwick, where they continue to reside.
Bob’s initial career began in advertising and continued until 1985. Since then, Bob has dedicated his time to farm improvement and art work. He is a well-known artist who has published four books featuring local subject matter. Bob has been actively involved in the Warwick Historical Society, the Architectural Review Board, and the American Legion.
Betty was a homemaker for many years and also a grade school teacher for twenty-five years.
The couple continues to enjoy retirement in the Warwick community.
