Earlier this week, the Village opened sealed bids to determine the contractor for the Mountain Lakes Sidewalk project. The sidewalk will extend from the new firehouse to 17A by Black Bear Wine & Spirit. The Village has been granted additional funds that will allow us to continue a sidewalk along 17A to connect into Cablevision. There will be a cross walk installed across 17A by the Garden Center as well. If the weather allows, we will try to get the project done before winter. If we run into bad weather, we may do the entire project in the Spring. Stay tuned for the ever-increasing pedestrian friendly projects happening in the Village!
