I would like to send out thanks to the many people and organizations who joined the Village Board in celebrating our nation’s Independence. The parade was a great success and I thank all those who participated and those who watched. This year’s fireworks were, in my opinion, better than ever. Thank you to our amazing young singer, Caroline Rourke, who kicked off the show with our National Anthem. I would also like to thank our Police Department, Volunteer Ambulance Corp and our Volunteer Fire Department for ensuring all of our safety during the event. Finally, thank you to the Greenwood Lake Village Board of Trustees for supporting patriotic events such as the parade and fireworks.
