Join the Cornell Cooperative Extension for a great introductory program to keeping backyard poultry on Thurs., Jan. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cornell Cooperative Extension, located at 18 Seward Ave, third floor in Middletown.
The program will be presented by Rachel Moody, Livestock Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County. This program will offer an overview to flock management with emphasis on: pasturing flocks of poultry, management of the poultry house, selecting hens for production, common diseases of the small flock, feeding and nutrition of poultry.
