The Warwick Girl Scouts celebrated World Thinking Day on Sat., Feb. 25. Mixed Troop 106 represented Nepal; Brownie Troop 167 represented Finland; Cadette Troop 174 represented Zimbabwe; Cadette Troops 296 and 787 represented Madagascar; Ambassador Troop 407 represented Egypt; Cadette Troop 528 and Junior Troop 582 represented Tunisia; and Cadette Troop 733 represented Cypress.
Each group gave a presentation on their country which included the educational opportunities for girls in that country. Girl Scouts and attendees then enjoyed a tidbit taster with foods from each country. Everyone learned something new and had a great time sharing different foods. Many groups also offered S.W.A.P.S. (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere) representing their country.
