The Warwick branch of KeyBank, located at 5 Maple Ave. in Warwick, celebrated 50 years of service to the Warwick community with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thurs., Apr. 20. The branch is located in a historical building that was built as a private home in 1808 by James Hoyt on land he purchased from the former Francis Baird tract.
The last resident of the house was Miss Hylah Hasbrouck, who taught fourth grade in Warwick for many years. Tina Buck, the branch manager, holds the scissors as she is joined by Denise Slettene, the area retail leader; members of the branch team & branch partners; Warwick Town Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Village of Warwick Mayor Michael Newhard, members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce (WVCC) including executive director Michael Johndrow; & Kathleen O’Connell, representing New York State Assemblyman Karl Brabenec.
