Pacem in Terris, located at 96 Covered Bridge Rd. in Warwick, will present the final concert of the 2018 season on Sun., Sept. 9 at 5 p.m. Percussionist Dan Haskins will join the Serenade Quartet, comprised of Krista Bennion Feeney on violin, Keats Dieffenbach on violin, Jessica Troy on viola, and John Feeney on bass.
Feeney has created an arrangement of Saint-Saens “Danse Macabre Poeme Symphonique” that will allow Haskins to recreate the original percussion part. Bennion Feeney will perform Bach’s “Chaccone” as well as part of the “Art of the Fugue” and the last unfinished “Chorale” that he dictated on his death bed line by line to his son-in-law.
