Diane Bollen and Joseph Brady, professional photographers and the owners of Dragonfly Photography in Warwick, are arranging a cultural exchange program to Cuba from Jan. 17-21. Bollen and Brady have taught photography workshops around the country and have introduced photo tours to Ireland and Scotland this past year.
Helping to organize the trip is Yvonne Butler, an experienced Cuba Travel organizer, one of the few licensed tour operators allowed to take trips to Cuba. She will be joined in Cuba by a bilingual local tour guide so Spanish is not required for travelers interested in participating.
The tour will emphasize the music and arts of a country that reflects the pace of a previous century. Participants will experience traditional Cuban music and dance, view classic cars and colonial architecture, dine at great restaurants and enjoy the local flavors, visit beautiful beaches and meet the local people.
The deadline to register for this trip is Sat., Oct. 15. For more information or to register, visit www.joebradyphotography.com.
