Artists and art collectors are invited to participate in the “Warwick Through Time” Community Art Show from Sat., Apr. 1 through Fri., Jun. 30. This show is part of the Sesquicentennial Celebration of the Village of Warwick. The show, sponsored by the Warwick Art League and the Albert Wisner Public Library, will be held at the library, located at 1 McFarland Dr. in Warwick.
This non-juried show is open to adult artists and collectors. Artwork should depict a person, place or event associated with the Village of Warwick past, present or future. Artwork will be accepted in any medium such as oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, photography, graphics and mixed media.
A reception that is free and open to the public will be held in the Board Room at the Library on Sat., Apr. 8 from 2 to 4 p.m.
All work must be properly framed, ready to hang, and delivered to the Library on Mon., Mar. 27 or Tues., Mar. 28 during Library hours. The registration entry form must be submitted by Wed., Mar. 15. When registering for the show, provide the name of the piece and how it relates to the Village of Warwick. There is no entry fee and one piece per artist or collector will be accepted.
