Calling all Warwick senior Cool Cats and Dolls! It’s time to dust off the suede bucks because a free Valentine’s bash is happening for Warwick senior citizens. Go ape to the live tunes of big band New York Swing Exchange and enjoy a really swell spread of appetizers and desserts this Valentine’s Day on Tues., Feb. 14 (snow date: Wed., Feb. 15) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Park Avenue Elementary School, located at 10 Park Ave. in Warwick.
The school gym will be all spiffed up with decorations by local volunteers and students who will be on hand to make the evening a real gas. “And if your boppin’ days are over, don’t let that keep you home. Come on out anyway to enjoy the great music! “
Conceived by the Village of Warwick Sesquicentennial Committee and sponsored by the Warwick Lions Club and Rotary, the event is free and open to all seniors. Space is limited.
