Time is running out to get tickets to our annual Senior BBQ to be held this year on Tues., Aug. 28. This event is free to any senior citizen residing in the Town of Warwick, thanks to the generous donations of so many community service organizations, our Veterans’ groups, the Warwick Valley Rotary and the support of many volunteers. Our seniors will be served lunch prepared by Fetch Executive Chef, Paul Karas, and a complete chicken dinner, prepared by local chef, Mike Coleman, of Mike’s Custom BBQ. A fun-filled day kicks off at 11 a.m. at Union Corners Park. This event is free to any senior citizen in our Town, but you do need a ticket which can be obtained through one of our seven senior citizen organizations or by stopping by the Supervisor’s Office in the Warwick Town Hall, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mark your calendars, and don’t miss this opportunity to have your community say thanks for all you have done to make this a great place to live.
