The Warwick Hope Chest, located at 20 Schoolhouse Rd. in Pine Island, celebrated the installation of their new signs, making it easier to locate their great clothing at great prices.
For six years, the Warwick Hope Chest has offered designer and upscale, and new and gently used clothing at drastically discounted prices. They’ve also given away over $200,000 worth of clothing to people in need through Warwick’s clothing bank, The Clothing Closet. Proceeds from the Warwick Hope Chest support The Clothing Closet. Shopping at the Warwick Hope Chest enables them to continue offering free clothing to people in need. Anyone in need is welcome to shop at The Clothing Closet for free clothing, toys, books and games.
The Warwick Hope Chest has also recently expanded to include a Fashion Floor, specializing in gently used prom dresses, formal wear, party dresses and men’s suits. The Warwick Hope Chest’s new sign was designed and installed by Susan Bemel, of Hand Crafted Carved Wood Signs in Pine Island. She and her team took great care to craft a beautiful sign replicating the Hope Chest’s well known logo. In addition to the sign at 20 Schoolhouse Rd., Susan also designed and installed a smaller sign on County Rte. 1 alongside Panco Petroleum Company, which generously allowed the installation free of charge.
The Warwick Hope Chest is always in need of volunteers. They are open Tues. from 4 to 7 p.m. as well as Thurs. and Sat. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
