The heartbroken pet owners who sought the public’s help in finding their missing dog, Toshi, are delighted to report that he has returned home. Toshi came home three days later after going missing on Sun., Feb. 4. Warwick NY resident Philip Myers and his wife, Eileen Moon, had been searching frantically for days to find their beloved pet.
“We suspect that he had spent those three days totally away from people as he typically does not feel comfortable with strangers. He lost one-and-a-half pounds in those three days,” said Philip.
Unfortunately, the GPS collar Toshi was wearing did not work. The good news is that a trip to the veterinarian’s office showed that Toshi is completely healthy.
Philip gave many thanks to the Warwick Valley Dispatch and all the helpful calls generated from the ad in the newspaper and the post on the Dispatch website about “Toshi” missing.
The staff at the Warwick Valley Dispatch are delighted to be able to help and thrilled that Toshi has returned safely home.
