The Town of Warwick Historical Society held its 45th Annual Evening Under the Tent event on Sat., Aug. 27. This year, the Society celebrated 11 generations of the Buckbee-Wisner Family. Funds generated by a silent auction of 52 items donated by individuals and businesses and an admittance fee were earmarked for the general operating funds of the Warwick Historical Society.
“For 110 years, the Society has sought to honor the people who settled this area, preserve the records of their existence and collect items that help illustrate their lives. Tonight we are celebrating the many contributions the Buckbee and Wisner families have made to the Town of Warwick. We recognize the fortitude of this family in its commitment to preserving the unique character of our Town,” said Lisa-Ann Weisbrod, the Executive Director of the Society.
