The Warwick Fire Department (WFD) reports that for the year to date they have responded to 172 calls for service.
For the period from Mon., Apr. 16 to Mon., Apr. 23, the Department responded to eight calls including: two for suspicious gas odor investigations, two for commercial fire alarm activation, one mutual aid prearranged standby with a fire engine at the Florida Fire Department, one motor vehicle rollover car accident with injuries, one illegal burn outside of a residence, one automatic residential alarm, and one call for hazardous conditions (oil spill).
The Warwick Fire Department also attended the Touch-A-Truck event at Golden Hill Elementary in the Village of Florida as well as the “Community Health Fair” at the Railroad Green in Warwick.
