The Warwick Fire Department will sponsor their biennial fire parade on Sat., Jun. 10 in the Village of Warwick. Lineup will start at 5 p.m. and the parade will begin at 6 p.m. Prior to the parade, truck judging will take place at the Warwick Middle School, located at 225 West St. in Warwick, from 2 to 4 p.m. Trophies will be awarded at 9 p.m.
The parade will celebrate Engine Co. #3’s 50 years of service to the community and is also in honor of Jeff Schadt. Chief Bob Lemin will be the Grand Marshal of the parade. The Division Marshals will be Joe Nuara of the Raymond Hose Co. #2, Charles Kittner, Jr. of the Excelsior Hose Co. #1, Joe Smith, Sr. of the Goodwill Hook and Ladder Co., and Dan Schweikart of Engine Co. #3.
The parade route will begin at South St. and Third St. and then proceed to Clinton Ave., Linden Pl., Oakland Ave., Main St., Colonial Ave., and Forester Ave.
