The Warwick Food Truck Festival, hosted by St. Stephens RC Church, announces that they have scheduled a bonus date for their Summer 2018 event calendar. The added festival, “Trucks 4 Hope,” will be held on Thurs., Aug. 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the St. Stephens soccer field.
The bonus festival will feature many returning vendors as well as some new additions. Live music will be provided by local favorite Jeremy Langdale as well as High South, an internationally recognized band from Nashville with the sound of the Eagles.
All event proceeds will benefit Mary’s Meals, a 501(c)3 charity providing life-changing meals to some of the world’s poorest children every school day. St. Stephen’s has supported Mary’s Meals for over four years by feeding children in Malawi and Liberia, and has a kitchen named for them. For more information on Mary’s Meals visit www.marysmealsusa.org.
General admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under. There is $5 cover charge for the craft beverage garden, open to over 21 guests. Seating is limited so guests should bring lawn chairs and blankets. The festival will take place rain or shine and only service dogs will be allowed.
