Be a part of history and join the Village of Warwick’s grand Sesquicentennial celebration by volunteering to help with some the many festivities that will take place from Wed., Aug. 2 through Sat., Aug. 5. The Village of Warwick Sesquicentennial committee is seeking volunteers for a variety of tasks and events.
To find out how to lend a helping hand, attend the next Sesquicentennial committee meeting on Wed., Jul. 19 at 7 p.m. in Village Hall, located at 77 Main St. in Warwick. The committee meets every Wednesday.
Centennial Committee Members Welcome to Join the Parade
The Sesquicentennial committee is also reaching out to everyone who served on the Village of Warwick’s Centennial committee in 1967. Anyone who participated in the Centennial committee is welcome to be in the parade on Sat., Aug. 5. Line up for the parade will be at 3 p.m. and the kick-off is slated for 4 p.m. For the Centennial committee members who do not wish to march, cars will be available to drive them along the parade route.
