The Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning (WFEL) recently hosted their second annual decade party at the Stagecoach Inn in Goshen, NY. This year’s theme was the Roaring 20s and for the night guests were sent back in time to that decade. Guests arrived in their Gatsby finest and were treated to jazz and food typical of that era.
The event raised over $6,000 for the foundation which will directly benefit the students and teachers in the Warwick Valley Central School District. WFEL funds mini grants for teachers and co-sponsors the One Book One School program in both Elementary Schools. WFEL also helps fund and facilitate the job shadowing and career fair programs at the High School in collaboration with the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce.
