The Hudson Valley was hit hard with blizzard-like conditions on Tues., Mar. 14 from Winter Storm Stella. Parts of the Town of Warwick received about 17 inches of snow. Strong winds created high snow drifts and schools were closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Department of Public Works crews worked hard plowing the roads. And the police in the Town and Villages of Florida and Greenwood Lake were out in full force ensuring the safety of the community.
Town Councilman Mickey Shuback voted against the 2018 preliminary budget due to concerns he has that the Town of Warwick Police Department will not have vehicles, especially as needed during the winter months. (Dispatch photo file)
