Jack Vignola is Student-Athlete of the Week

Warwick High School is proud to recognize senior Jack Vignola as this week’s Bill Garcia Allstate Student-Athlete of the Week.
The senior baseball captain went three for seven scoring three runs and hitting a three run home run in the opening week of baseball, pacing the Wildcats to victories over Chester Academy and Newburgh Free Academy. Jack is a four-year member of the Warwick varsity baseball team and he is the team centerfielder. He has been recognized as a Scholar–Athlete for baseball by the NYSPHSAA for an average of 90 or better in season for all four years of High School.
Jack is an outstanding student–athlete with a weighted grade point average of 98.89 and he ranked in the top 10 percent of the Warwick senior class. Jack’s classes include Advanced Placement Courses for College Credit in Literature, Environmental Science, US History, College Algebra, and Calculus. Jack is an active member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, the Student Senate, and the Leadership Academy.
Jack plans to attend the Salisbury School in Northern Maryland in anticipation of additional options following a year of post graduate studies.
Jack is the son of Frank and Kate Vignola, of Warwick NY. His brother, Max, is a sophomore at Bentley University and his brothers, Luke and Leo, both attend the Warwick Schools.
