Greenwood Lake Students Raise $1,050 for Miles of Hope

Students in the Greenwood Lake School District raised $1,050 for The Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation on Fri., Oct. 14. Students & staff members donated at least $2 and wore pink. The most ‘pinked out’ students in each building will receive a lunch of his/her choice from planet pizza. , in conjunction with The Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation, the Greenwood Lake School District will raise money to support families impacted by cancer in the Mid-Hudson Valley as well as create awareness in the community for the many people affected by this illness. The Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation is a local foundation with a mission to fund support services, outreach, and education for people affected by breast cancer within the 8 counties of the Hudson Valley: Dutchess, Putnam, Orange, Ulster, Westchester, Columbia, and Greene.
