Mayor Dwyer: Local Business Hosts “Santa Con Pub Crawl” for Charity

Local News News & Updates

The Irish Whisper Public House, located on Windermere Ave., and owned by my good friends Joe and Maureen Anthony, are once again using their fun and festive minds for a good cause.

Sat., Dec 14 marks the 5th Annual Santa Con Pub Crawl. The event is exactly how it sounds – everyone dresses up in their favorite Santa (or similarly festive) costume and makes a stop at all the local bars /restaurants throughout the Village. Everyone starts at the Irish Whisper at 2 p.m. and there is a suggested donation of $20 to participate.

Keep in mind, this is a walking event with some provided transportation. Be sure you have arrangements to be driven home by someone who was not participating in the day’s events after it concludes – our police will be out there ensuring everyone’s safety and will be on the lookout for those who should not be driving. All of the proceeds from the day will support the local teen and senior center.
