Supervisor Sweeton: Receiver of Taxes Accepting Online Payments, In-Person Checks

     Town Residents may bring their discarded Christmas trees next to the mulch pile, across from the Dial-A-Bus building on Public Works Drive, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Fri., Jan. 31.

     Brenda Faulls, Receiver of Taxes, will be accepting online payments for the 2020 Orange County Town and County Real Property Tax Bills.  There is a convenience fee that will be applied to this service and paid by the taxpayer to the payment processor.   These fees are not included in the tax dollars paid to the collector.  The fees are as follows: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Credit Cards:  2.45% of the total tax, due at time of payment. Visa Debit Card:  $3.95. ACE (E-Check) Electronic Check:  $1.75. To pay online, go to the Receiver of Taxes section of the Town website at www.townofwarwick.org. If you have any questions, please contact the Tax Office at 986-1125, ext. 249.

     You can still pay in person at Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway, Warwick, NY. Tax collection hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday in January and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday during February and March.

     The next regular meeting of the Town Board will be held on Thurs., Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Warwick Town Hall, at 132 Kings Highway.
