Due to alerts of the coronavirus in the New York area the following local events have been cancelled:
The Community Dinner, on Sat., Mar. 14; Writers and Storytellers Workshops on Mon., Mar. 16; and the Carnival Puppet Workshop on Sat., Mar. 21 – all to be held at the Warwick Valley Community Center, have been cancelled.
The Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra has postponed their concert which was scheduled for Sat., Mar. 14.
Orange County Amateur Radio Club’s regular monthly meeting on Fri., Mar. 20 is cancelled. The next meeting will be on Fri., Apr. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Pure Necessity: Revolution at Warwick fundraiser that was set for Sat., Mar. 21 for the Seward/Mapes Homestead Restoration in Florida, NY has been cancelled.
Town of Warwick Democratic Committee Meet and Greet, which was scheduled for Sun., Mar. 22 at Baird’s Tavern in Warwick, is cancelled. This was an opportunity to get to know judicial candidates Maria Patrizio and Paul Trachte.
Tom Paxton & the Don Juans, which was to be held on Sun., Mar. 22 as a fundraiser for the Warwick Historical Society, has been rescheduled for Sun., Sept. 13 at the Old School Baptist Meeting House, High St. in Warwick.
Afternoon Tea, a fundraiser for the New Milford-Edenville United Methodist Church, which was to be held on Sat., Apr. 4, is cancelled.
Annual Country Pancake Breakfast, sponsored by the Pulaski Fire Co. and Pine Island Fire Department, has been cancelled. The event is held each year on Palm Sunday. The firefighters appreciate everyone’s continued support and their understanding.
